Group Fundraising

Fund Raising Opportunities for Nonprofits, teams, youth, church, groups

Background

Founded in 1968, we have provided our customers with quality entertainment for 50+ years. We are based in Oak Creek, Wisconsin and deliver over 500 special events each year ranging in size from 100 to 10,000 attendees across the state. We are looking for groups (high schools, civic organizations, churches, etc.) that are interested in fundraising opportunities. These groups help run and take down the event.

Day of the Event

On the day of the event, our coordinator will meet with your volunteer group approximately one hour before the event to make assignments and give detailed instructions. Assignments include running game booths, serving concessions, supervising children’s activities and running sports tournaments and inflatable games. An average event operates approximately four hours.

Takedown

After the event, the group helps break down the equipment and reload the truck. A typical takedown is approximately one hour.

Donation Dollars

The donation amount is based on the size of the event, the number of activities, the number of volunteers required, and the length of the event. This amount will fluctuate depending on the requirements for each event.

Join our “FUN” Team

Imagine no more car washes, cookie, candy and donut sales! Volunteering at a Fun Events’ event is fun and easy for everyone!

Fun Events’ Expectations

Provide the full number of people we request. Arrive promptly at meeting time. Do not leave the site until your duties are over. Provide adult supervision for your group. Be pleasant and courteous to our guests and staff.

Dress Code

Dress in loose, comfortable black or khaki pants or shorts, appropriate for physical activity and the weather. No cut-offs please. “Volunteer” aprons will be provided and must be worn during the event. Please do not alter them in any way. The aprons are to be returned to our coordinator. Closed toe athletic shoes, such as tennis shoes or work boots would be best. Sandals and flip-flops are not allowed.

Personal Items

If you need to carry personal items, we suggest a fanny pack/back pack. There will not be any place to store valuable items and we cannot be responsible for lost items.

Meals / Drinks

All volunteers must bring a bag lunch and water/beverage. There may be water available on-site, but it is best to be self-sufficient. Please drink plenty of fluids before and during an event to stay hydrated!

Shift Changes/ Breaks

Your Fun Events’ Coordinator must approve all shift changes and breaks during the event. Another member from your group must cover your attraction. Attractions can never be left unattended. Fun Events will provide a designated area for your group to take breaks and eat lunch (please do not let your volunteers roam during scheduled breaks/lunch). Volunteer groups are prohibited from riding on equipment, playing midway games, taking prizes, or consuming any picnic food or concession items unless otherwise instructed by your Fun Events’ Coordinator.
Note: Your group leader should consider preparing a break schedule prior to the event.

Conduct / Safety

Tobacco, alcohol, drugs and cell phones are strictly prohibited. You must be at least 15 years of age to volunteer. Parents may not bring children younger than 15 to the site.
